Who we are –  Rainbow Wood Farm

Husband and wife and James and I, (Rachel) have both been brought up on farms and share a love of animals and the countryside and work together in the running of the farm, B&B and shop.

Farmer James is passionate about his animals, looking after a range of breeds of  sheep, pigs, cows, and hens. James also takes pride in his butchery, providing a range of top quality farm fresh produce for the shop.

Meanwhile I welcome guests to the Bed and Breakfast for an enjoyable and relaxing stay in the comfort of the peaceful surroundings. A keen cook, I take pride in ensuring quality and  in sharing tips in the Farm Shop, and later in the year, take great pride in my annual Christmas Shop, filling the stable with decorations, gifts and tasty treats.

“We work together to combine our skills and passions, keeping things simple, traditional and above all, ethical and inspiring.”

About Rainbow Wood Farm

Rainbow Wood Farm is a 300 acre working farm, bed & breakfast, farm produce shop and seasonal Christmas barn. The farm is full of the character that you would expect of a 17th century Georgian dwelling.

The centre of the city of Bath is just a few minutes away but there are also many other attractions close by. The farm is adjacent to Rainbow Wood and the National Trust Bath Skyline walk. Across the road is the University of Bath with many of its sport facilities open to the public, including an Olympic-size swimming pool.

The American Museum and Prior Park Gardens are close by while a short drive away are Iford Manor, The Courts Gardens in Holt and Great Chalfield Manor.
