Rainbow Wood Farm – Terms & Conditions

Payment Details

For all bookings we take a card payment over the phone or we can supply you with our BAC’s information for a transfer via email on request. Alternatively, we can agree booking and you can opt to pay a deposit cheque and post to the farm address (in contact info) made payable to Mr DJ Gay. Once payment is received, we will send you an email or text message confirming the booking. The balance is then due on departure.

We accept the following forms of payment: cash, cheque, debit card or credit card (we are unable to accept AMEX or Diners Club cards). Payments on credit card are accepted, but please be aware that there is a £1.50 charge on all transactions.

In the unlikely event of your booking being cancelled or curtailed, we are entitled by law to charge for booked accommodation not taken up, however, we appreciate that some cases are uncontrollable and therefore we may make an exception in such cases. If cancellation occurs within 14 days of arrival a cancellation fee of £40.00 per room will be charged. Cancellation within 48hrs of arrival (or non-arrival or curtailment of stay) will result in the full amount being charged.

Deposits are non-returnable if cancellation occurs within 14 days of arrival and we are unable to re-let the accommodation.

We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

Arrival & Departure

Your accommodation is available to you from 2pm on the day of arrival, unless otherwise arranged. Please be ready to leave your accommodation by 10.30am on the day of departure, (11 am on Sundays) unless otherwise arranged. Your bill for the accommodation is payable on departure.

Damages and Breakages

You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you or any member of your party cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may ask for compensation, or we may send you an invoice, for any significant damages beyond suitable repair.

We do not accept liability for damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.

We happily accept children. We recommend that younger children stay in The Clock Room, where there is more space, especially if you are bringing a travel cot.

Children are excepted in the other rooms, but please call or email to prearrange.

Please call to discuss. We do accept some dogs, depending on behaviour and type and only in specific rooms. BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT ONLY.
